Update

Well it has been awhile since I have posted, not much has happened but I still wanted to do an update! We are back in Lovell! It has been pretty good! It's nice to be "home". Bill has been working out at GK Construction as a diesel mechanic and has really been enjoying it! We are living in my grandparent’s house, it has taken some adjusting but it’s going good! It’s hard not to have your own "stuff". We are definitely ready to have our own place, but it will be awhile before that happens! Since we have moved home my grandpa passed away, which was hard but it was a blessing. He has been in pain for a few years now and he is with grandma and I’m sure so much happier! He passed away November 16 at about 10:15. The funeral was the next Friday (the 23th) so as you can imagine our house was packed on Thanksgiving!! It was a little overwhelming, but nice to have everyone here!! I think we had over 65 people here! The head count that we had was around 65, but I don't think anyone actually counted the day of so who really knows! But there were A LOT of people!:) It was nice to finally have "my house" back to the way I like it:). My dryer went out the Monday after everyone left, go figure! The belt finally got here this week! So I have finally got all beds washed and made, what a chore!

Another eventful thing that happened... Bill went with a friend that was trying to fill his deer tag, Bill thought he needed to try and shoot a bottle; well the gun must have been a little bigger then he thought and he got scoped! I was meeting with a lady and I had told Bill to go to my grandmas after and wait for me there since I had locked the house and he didn't have a way back in, little did I know he was going to be gushing blood everywhere!! My grandma was not the person to go either! She had called me and left me a message saying Lacee call me, so I knew something was going on! I called her back she said, well Bill had an accident.... I was so mad at him! She doesn't do blood well, but thank goodness she doctored him up until I got there! We weren't sure if he needed stitches or not, but he doesn't have insurance yet so I wasn't taking him to the ER. We went over to my moms and she told us he needed stitches... Thank goodness my uncle can stitch! We are so thankful that he was able to help us out! That happened a few weeks ago and it is healing really well!

Getting reading to get stitched!

After getting stitched

I cannot believe Christmas is just around the corner!! We finally got some lights up last weekend, but we still don't have a Christmas tree! Bill wants to go get a real one but I don't know when we will do that.... so we will see I guess!! We do have our stockings hung though! My mom finally finished Bills! Mine my grandma Welch made a long time ago!! She made all of her grandchildren one and my mom has taken it on for our family!

Bittersweet!

I seriously work with some of the best people ever!! They are all so great! I have had a great opportunity working with such wonderful people while living in Laramie. Not only have I made great friends in Medical Records, but the whole clinic is awesome! I have made some really great friends. Tomorrow is my last day at Premier Bone and Joint Centers; it's a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to go home and start a new chapter in our lives, but I am actually kind of sad to be leaving such wonderful people. Today they had a "surprise" party for me. They ordered Corona Village (one of my favorite places ever!) and we had cake too!! They gave me the sweetest card that people signed. I just feel so privileged! Not only have I made great friends at my job, but we have met some really great friends too! We are going to miss so many people when we go back to Lovell next weekend, but I am definitely ready to go "home".

Bill graduates next Friday afternoon, we were planning on leaving right after that but I think we will leave Saturday just so we aren't rushed and to make sure everything gets done before we leave!

We have a really good year, it was hard at first, very hard! But it was all worth it! I still remember the day we moved down here like it was yesterday. I bawled the whole way! Bill would look over at me just as I had finished crying and say "it looks like you’re going to cry" so I would start all over again!! It was such a huge challenge for me to leave "home" even though I knew it was the right thing and we needed to do it, it was still one of the hardest things I think I have ever done. It was probably just 4 months ago that I left Lovell without crying when we came back to Laramie lol! I'm so thankful for a husband who was so strong and had shoulder for me to cry on. He always was there to comfort me when I was homesick, and he never showed that he missed home, so a huge thanks to him! He made it much easier and helped me stick through the year! There were times I just wanted to leave!

I'm so grateful that we have had this opportunity, and that Bill has learned so much and has enjoyed school! I'm excited to see what this next chapter in our lives holds!

Thanks again to everyone who made this past year so fun and memorable! It is definitely one I will never forget!

Another Beautiful Day!

Yesterday was another beautiful day for fishing in the Medicine Bow National Forest! We left about 7:30 and there were so many people already up there! Most of them were hikers, but there were a few fishermen. We hiked into the North Gap Lake and spent most of the day there, we caught lots of fish compared to the last time!:) Jake caught 14, Bill caught 6 and I caught 6. After we spent probably 2-3 hours there we headed back. We stopped at the South Gap Lake, which is where we went last time and I was the only one to catch anything! I caught two more fish!:) We caught Brook trout’s all day and I caught a rainbow at the south gap. Over all it was a great day and so beautiful!

The first catch of the day

 My monster!

 It was hooked pretty good!

all the stupid rocks we hiked over! I thought I was going to die!!

Half way up, had to take a break!:)

Our Friend

This is what I found when I got home from work Friday...

Bill didn't even notice it when he got home from school!! I noticed it right when I walked into the building, I didn't even make it up the stairs! Bill tried opening the door and it moved so I told him to just keep the door shut so it wouldn't go inside! I had him call animal control and they came over and got it thank goodness!! She said that they have had a lot of bats around lately.
She asked us if it was there this morning but neither of us noticed it. She said that it had been there awhile since it left urine and poo...
I am just so glad it is gone! I sat in the apartment building across from ours until she got here:) I am not very brave when it comes to stuff like that!

Great Weekend

We had a great time being home this last weekend! We left Laramie Wednesday morning around 7:30 and got to Lovell around 1:30. We visited with family and then we went fishing for a couple of hours before we headed to the Follies, as usual there were some good acts but there were some that could have been left out... We did lots of fishing on this trip, that’s Bill's new favorite thing to do!:) We also enjoyed the parade and got to go to our niece Avah's first birthday party!! I can't believe she is already 1!! It was a nice trip home and as always it went way too fast!! I love getting to spend time with family and friends we never get to see! But it is nice to be back at our own place in our own bed!:) We didn't get home till late, but it was worth it!

she loved the ice cream sandwhich!
